The construction of the present health centre
began in 1968. April 22, 1973 the building of inter-collective farm
health centre "Podolye" that was at that time intended
for 250 places received its first patients.
In August 1975 one more building for 250 places
was put into operation. In 1976 the canteen was built and in 1978
— the bath department where one wing for 26 baths worked, the
room with 4-celled bathes with two settings, rooms for gynecological
irrigations with 4 armchairs, the basin for underwater spine stretch,
two basins for underwater shower-massage and hydropathy-room.
The polyclinic to which the rooms from the buildings
and bath-department were moved was built in 1980. The third building
for 500 places was as well built. The institution for peatmud-cures
began its work in 1987.
The people in charge of the health centre have
always been taken care of their workers, that's why the apartment
house for 99 apartments and also the family-dormitory for employees
was put into operation at the same time with the development of
the health centre.

| Sanatorium collective |
Till 1996 the sanatorium worked at full capacity.
Then the quantity of the vacationists sharply decreased. Nevertheless
the people in charge of the sanatorium made every effort to save
the pearl of Chmelnik. In 1999 the license on the work of the sanatorium
was at last conferred and in 2000 the health centre received the
highest accreditation category. Since then life has resumed it's
normal course.
Since the second half of the year 2000 and till
today Leschuk Yuriy Alexandrovich has been leading the health centre.
He unites people for them to give their love and care to every patient.

of vacationists, who have passed sanatorium |
At present "Podolye" is a well-known,
important, prestigious health centre. It is one of the best in this
country. In 30 years 316 thousand people have improved their health
here.
